Just two quick questions.

1) I don't want to send my passport as I am job hunting and it contains my ILR visa - can I send a certified copy?

2) Can I simply confirm that I have passed the ESOL test and have a certificate as I used it to obtain my ILR and the notes seem to say that I can either send or confirm?

Hi, you don't send your passport if you apply using NCS - contact your local council to book an appointment - they certify everything and lt you keep all your orginal documents. Of course there is an added fee for this. If you did your Life in UK test at time of ILR, tick that you did it as part of your application for ILR - but when I went for my NCS appointment she asked me to bring a copy of anything that showed I had sat the test - I had a sheet of paper they used as a booking form at the time and she sent a copy of that with my application.
