Acknowledgement Letter

Dear all,
I hope all is well with you.
I have applied for BC in Feb 2012 but so far I haven’t received any acknowledgement letter. Application fee was deducted on 27/02/2012 and my understanding is that you normally receive acknowledgement letter within couple of day after fee is debited.
Is this normal or should I write to HO for the reminder?
