Hi Every one,

I am on ILR and need to submit MN1 application for my son, his dependent visa is expiring on 26th March, the earliest date available, to submit the form through nationality checking service, is 4th April, I need to know that, if it is mandatory to submit MN1 form before the visa expiry date?

Best Regards

Assuming the child is UK born - NO.

see Q1 in FAQ - most common questions - Children. Pay attention to the words "irrespective of their immigration status".

Thanks for your quick reply, yes the child is UK born (Born before I got the ILR). so you mean to say that i can submit MN1 application after visa expiry date and this would not be a problem?

Thanks again
