citizenship question

phone ukba and was told by call center adviser that application has undergone initial checks and its now in a queue.does anyone know what this means

queue.
(it just means it is being processed. Should not give any indication when a decision would be made).

Evidently there's a backlog with BC applications at the moment...so you may have to wait some time for a decision.

It means they're taking a longer time than usual to deal with British Citizenship applications.
