Hi
I received BC registration certificates for my kids (registered under section 1(3)) and now going to apply for their passport.

I am going to send their birth certificate, BC registration certificates and foreign passports.

Is it ok if i dont send my and me wife's passport and our marriage certificate?

Yes (assuming you mean a medical doctor and not someone holding PhD).
