English test for spouse _ILR

Hi,

My friend is on tier 2 and applying for ILR with her husband (dependant).
Her husband needs to clear English language test as per new rules. He is comfortable with English language.

1) Can you suggest which test
2) Required score as a spouse A1 or B1?
3) Any materials/practice test?
4) Charges for the test?
5) How long does it take to get the result once appeared for the test?

I will appreciate any help on this please
