10 years residency and a Problem...

Dear Admin...

My friend's 10 years will complete on 4th of april 2014 but his latest visa is finishing on 1st of february and he is behind 63 days to complete his 10 years long residency.What should he do in these circumstances....at present he on student visa....Should he apply for new student visa or he should apply for long residency....Waiting positive response...

Apply for leave before his current leave expires then vary to SET(LR) when eligible, from 28 days before 10 years.
