ILR Long Residence

Post by fuzzy991 » Sun Jul 20, 2014 7:30 pm

Hello Everyone,

Please note that I submitted my ILR Long Residence Application on 07th July 2014 by post.
Home Office successfully received it and sent me the application confirmation letter which have my ILR case number and which is dated 09th July 2014
Home Office deducted the fee of £ 1,093 on 11th July 2014

I cannot remember that whether if I wrote my full name on the back of each the two recent identical photographs I provided.
That's why, just to be on the safe side, on 19th July 2014, I posted:

1. My two recent identical photographs with my full name on the back of each one, along with
2. Copy of that Home Office application confirmation letter.

Please confirm if I have done the correct thing ?

Please confirm if it will affect my application in any way shape or form ?

Many thanks.

I would be highly surprised if your application gets rejected because you didn't write your name on the back of photos. However, no one can give you any sort of assurance that it would not effect your application. There might be some slight delay in processing but I can't envisage any worse problems.

However, a cover letter would have been nice if you had sent it with those additional photos!

@ Sublte

Many thanks for the reply Sublte
Yes I did sent them the cover letter, explaining them this, (along with the photos & copy of their confirmation letter)

Let's hope for the best.
