CONFUSION BETWEEN FLR(M)or SET(M)

Post by em-em » Thu Aug 21, 2014 6:23 pm

Hi everyone, please anyone can help..i came here in the uk last may 2012 under marriage visa,i applied for FLR(M)around august 2012 and they grant me a spouse visa ON 21 MARCH 2013 valid till 21 MARCH 2015,can i apply for ILR?i am not claiming any benefit since i arrived here in the uk and continously living with my English husband,we have a daughter together that was born here and the other one is on the way, what's confusing me is at the back of the letter that i had from UKBA i can apply for ILR after 2 years but some sites says that u have to complete the 5 years first before you can apply for ILR..please any reply will help as also i'm worried that maybe they will send me back home without my children if i filled the wrong form.thank you!

An expired test should be ok if it meets B1 as per the UKVI approved test list https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... t_2014.pdf. For adequate maintenance see http://www.immigrationboards.com/immigr ... 04025.html

thanks amber i just had a look and my english test was in level B1 and even though it's only valid for two years it should be enough so long i still have my IELTS certificate and i think my husband earns £21,800 per annum and he's claiming a child benefit for our daughter hope that's ok..and also do i have to include my childrens name in my application form eventhough they're born here under and their dad is english?if i don't need to include them does UKBA wants to see their birth certificates?thanks a lot!

it doesn't show in my husband's account that he claims benefit for our daughter so do i have to send the child benefit claim form from HMRC or i don't have to as i'm not gonna include them in my application form?thanks

You should include on the form, and provide the ChB statement.
