Hi,
I hold an ILR Visa and has been living outside UK for less than 2 years. I intend to come back to UK before the 2 years is over.
This is the rule I got related to this,
"You may return to the UK as a resident if:
1. you were settled in the UK when you last left; and
2. you have been away for two years or less; and
3. you are returning to live here permanently; and
4. you were not given public funds to pay the costs of leaving the
UK."
I concur to all of them, however, while entering, would the immigration officer be asking proofs for each of those? Particularly regarding point 3 & 4? If yes, what are the kind of documents that I should produce?
