ILR for Tier2 dependent

Post by aws2 » Tue Jan 07, 2020 11:28 pm

Hi,

Last month, My wife has received Tier 2 general visa. I am in Tier 2 ICT visa. After 5 years, when my wife applies for ILR, am I eligible to apply ILR with my current Tier 2 ICT visa?

Your current visa doesn't qualify for ILR as it was issued after 6th April 2010. Your wife's ILR is irrelevant and will provide no concession to enable you to apply for settlement through her.

The advice given by CR001 in the link below, explains the rules clearly.
