How To Calculate Number of Days Out of the Country

Hello All,

This is my First post and pardon me if similar post was already posted and answered.
i have actually checked initial 3 pages but did not find the answer.

My Question is how should I calculate the Number of days outside the country?
Eg. if I left UK on 12/05/2019 (15:00) and return back on 14/05/2019 (21:00) should i count 3 days (12,13,14) or should i count 1 day (13) for my 180 days calculation.

I would appreciate if some one can answer in simple yes or no to my question.

My Entry in UK is 22-Feb-2015 (VISA START DATE 11-feb-2015) and as per 28 day period i can apply ILR at the end of Jan(26/01/2020) this year where as my partner entered in UK on 30-Mar-2015(VISA START DATE 11-feb-2015), can we both apply at same time at the end of Jan as the VISA Start date is 11th Feb 2015 for both of us?

Only full days count. So that will be one day only

Yes if you hold PBS visas. Entry date is irrelevant for PBS visa holders as qualifying period starts from visa issue date

I am the main applicant and yes, i am on PBS but the VISA Start date is applicable for Dependent as well?

ILR has checks done by UKVI. You do not need to do anything
