Original supporting documents for UKVCAS Appointment

Post by randolfcarter » Sat Feb 15, 2020 7:57 pm

Dear all,

I have booked an appointment for UKVCAS (Tier 1 to ILR application) and in the confirmation email one of the "must bring" is "all your original supporting documents - even if you uploaded copies online".

Is my understanding correct and they want to me to print everything out and bring it with me even though they are not going to send any originals to Home Office? Most of the documents such as RTI, Payslips, Bank Statements are originally digital. Do they really hate them trees so badly? Or do they only mean my passport and my BRP?

I contacted their support but they are usually replying within five days and my appointment is in three so I doubt I'm going to get anything from them in time.

Can anybody share their experience with this?

Original means passports, BRP, etc. Not digital copies
