Question about financial requirement documents

Hi all

I’ve just paid my application today and biometrics is scheduled this Sunday. I applied using standard service and I understand this will take up to 6 months.

We are using my husband’s income to meet the financial requirement ( we have letter of employment and pay slips) but he accepted a job offer from another company ( beginning of this month) and will start in May. My question is, do we need to submit his new contract or offer letter and a cover letter explaining the situation? Just bit worried that if they start to check my application after May ( like they call the current company to verify) that this will be an issue as he will no longer be working there in May.

I would say no as this is based on the application date.
