spouse ILR from UK

Post by tnazir » Sun May 02, 2021 1:13 pm

Dear Experts

I am applying for my spouse ILR after she completing 5 years, confuse about questions in application form.

she came to uk when I was on Tier 2 work visa and her brp says ''dependent leave to enter''

I got my ILR last year so question is which category she has to apply for according to forms , is it SET(M) or SET(O)

I assumed its SET(M), but when filling for for SET(M) question came up

''Select a category in which you are applying for indefinite leave to remain''

Tier 1 or Appendix W dependants
Tier 1 migrant
Skilled Worker or Tier 2 dependant
Skilled Worker or Tier 2
Bereaved partner
Representative of an overseas business
Retired person of independent means
UK ancestry
Global talent
Any other employment
Other purposes or reasons not covered by other application forms

I am not sure which one to select, as I have got ILR and there is no option for ILR dependent or something. please forgive my ignorance.

any help would be obliged

Thanks

Assuming you got your ILR via the Tier 2 route and not Long Residence, she will apply on SET(O) not SET(M).

The option to choose will be:

Skilled Worker or Tier 2 dependant
