TUPE-Absence letter for ILR

Dear Experts,

I will be applying for ILR next month. I have a query regarding the absence letter from the employer. Two years back my company was taken over by another company under TUPE but I have been working In the same workplace for the last 5 years just the ownership changed. Could you please confirm if separate absence letters will be required from my previous sponsor ( old company before TUPE transfer took place ) and my current sponsor?

If the new company took over, then they should be able to give you a letter covering all absences
