Hi Dear respected forum,
Apologies if this has been asked before.
I have a query please.
Tier 2 visa
Brp issue 22/12/2016
Entry 27/12/2016
Dependent brp issued 15/1/2017 entry 1/2/2017
Expiry 1/4/2022 for all of us.
Planning to apply for ILR on 25/11/2021 super priority and then 17/12/2021 apply for dependents to save money on paying all as priority because of costs!
Questions:
1. Is that reasonable?
2. It will be set O for all is that correct?
3. One of the kids was born here so will be applying for citizenship immediately after my approval irrespective of other dependents?
4. If my ILR is delayed can Is still apply for dependents as planned? If yes anything different to do?
5. In absence section in application do we mention period between brp issue and entrance ( 22/12 to 27/12)? If yes what to right in the reason section?
If not how would they know the issue date for first brp?
6. Is my calculations correct for 28 days before the 22/12 ( first brp)?

5. No. How do they know ?? They issued the visa

Thanks a lot Zimba very helpful.
Point 5 has a background of personal bad experience losing trust with how records are kept!!
One more question please:
The employer wrote this paragraph in the letter instead of Foreseeable future,( I can confirm that there is a requirement for him to continue his role within the department up to and including 2 August 2022)!
Is that acceptable by UKvI standards? Or should chase HR to write the exact words?

'Foreseeable future' means that they are not expecting that your position is not needed. I suggest getting the exact wording

I am having a problem that HR is refusing to write that wording! As I am on fixed term contract until 8/2022!
Is there any way around this? Of the write for example ( he currently have a fixed term contract until 8/2022)?.

That is all you can do so I suggest doing that. Some people in similar circumstances have gotten ILR without any issues

Hi Mo1985,
I'm finding myself in a similar situation with my own HR. Were you able to resolve this with them or find success in you application with some particular wording?
