ILR spouse help

This is all confusing and was wondering if people can help clarify a few things for us.

We are applying for ILR set m for my wife.

We have filled out the application and now have been sent an email to book an appointment at ukvcas (sopra steria). We initially didn't get the access code when signing up last night but tried today and got the code to register our account at ukvcas.

Now we are going to appointments and all we get is no appointments available anywhere. We've tried alot of different centres, premium and vip.. but nothing!

We haven't uploaded documents. I was under the assumption that we didn't need to upload documents and basically hand in all the documents. Am I right or do we still need to upload documents? Do I need to do this before getting dates?

If you don't upload documents by yourself, you will need to pay UKVCAS for scanning documents.

As for appointment, check other big cities as well.
