Tier 2 to ILR

Post by sherdilkhan2022 » Sun Jul 24, 2022 9:04 pm

Good Evening Moderators

I am totally new on this forum.

Please guide me on below questions:

I am on Tier 2 (General) Leave to Remain Visa expiring in November 2022.

My first visa for 2 years was granted on 7th September 2017 and I came in UK on 23rd September 2017.

My extension for 3 years granted in October 2019.

Please guide:

1. when I am eligible to apply for ILR?

2. Which category and form I need to use for ILR application?

3. What documents I need to prepare?

4. What is the minimum Salary threshold?

Looking forwad

1- Within 28 days of completing your 5 years, counting from the first visa issue date
2- Under Skilled worker. Use form SET(O)
3- The system will tell you what to send
4- indefinite-leave-to-remain/ilr-minimum- ... l#p2027869

Hi Zimba

Many thanks for your reply (just came back from annual holidays)

Please help me to complete my application:

1. letter(s) from employer(s) detailing reasons for work-related absences including periods of paid annual leave from the UK for Mr..... (do I need ask my employer to add full annual holidays in detail (please help if have any sample letter?

2. A documents from the Sponsor:

i. Still required for the employment in question for the foreseeable future...

ii. the nearest applicable code which I understood from the previous cos letter?

iii. your current rate of pay this should be given in the same format as given in the codes of practice.... (My yearly Salary is 42K , is that enough to mention 42K on employer letter with the SOC code?

iv. confirmation that this at or above the appropriate rate for the job as stated in the code of practice for Tier 2 Sponsors( Please guide on this)

3. Can my employer mention all above required details on one letter or 2 separate letters required?

please guide me any specific letter format would be a great help!

I am just going to submit my application and sorting my employer related documents so please guide me.

End of application asked all previous passports (I came UK in 2009 as student and left in June 2016), came back again in September 2017 on Tier 2 Visa (do i need to upload passports after 2017 or all previous passports as well?

There is no letter template. One letter from employer can cover all those. You just need to provide passports covering the last 5 years
