TFL bye law violation

Post by Kindom233 » Sat Oct 12, 2024 7:34 pm

Hello everyone. I was stopped by TfL for holding a freedom pass I found on the street and taken to the magistrate court. I was fined and I paid the fine through the bank account I received from the court. This is happened in April this year and my ILR is due in November 2024.
I’m planning to declare everything on my application but my question is will this affect my ILR being declined. Any advice or recommendations will be appreciated thank you.

This has no effect on ILR

Thanks Zimba. I’m just scared because I read somewhere that if you found guilty for a criminal conviction or court settlement less than 12months before your Application you might be refused your visa.

That is largely incorrect. Being fined in court has no effect on your ILR unless there was pattern of offending
