ILR Experience & timelines 2025 (Priority service & Additional documents)

Hi All,
I have been regularly reading post from this forum and found it very useful hence sharing my experience with ILR if it help others.

I filled ILR as skilled visa holder Set(0) along with spouse and son (21) and here are the timelines from filling application to approval including additional documents step. I did everything for ILR by myself and did not use any immigration lawyer.

- Came to UK Oct 2019
- Application filled on Jan 12th 2025 with priority service
- Got biometric done on Jan 20th 2025 in London
- Got email at noon on Jan 22nd asking additional evidence for spouse (english language) and son (not leaving independent) and that case may be delayed. Email gave 10 days to respond and email id where to respond with case reference number
- Replied in 1 hour with necessary document (bit surprising that we are usa citizen yet english language evidence was asked so i pointed them to immigration document which states national of english speaking countries are not needed to prove this but also resubmitted my spouse usa passport).
- For son ( they referred to SW41.2 point - i responded that immigration document this point has been deleted however attached his education certificates to prove he is full time student for all 5 years)
- Got approval email for all 3 on Jan 23rd around noon.
- Evisa UKVI account etc process completed by EOD of 23rd Jan 2025.

Just FYI - my e-visa shows settled but for my spouse and son it shows dependent however it does clearly state can work and leave in UK with no limitation. I have raised a evisa correction ticket to check if this is right status or it should show settled for them as well.
