ILR - changing jobs

Wonder if someone could assist.

I applied for ILR (from ancestral visa and Limited Leave to remain) and received a letter from Home Office on the 12th October.

In the meantime I have left my company at the beginning of this month and started a business with 2 partners, must I inform Home Office of this change?

Btw how long does someone wait for the ILR to be issued, would dearly like my passport back
