HOW TO GET AN PEO APPOINTMENT FOR ILR

Post by kpreddy » Thu Jan 28, 2010 1:38 am

Dear all,

I have followed the pattern how the Home Office works on the appointments... I will share what I have noticed so that others can get some idea on how the system works

Booking an appointment over the phone is the best way when compared to the online system.

If you are a BT home customer calling 0870 number is free from your BT.

The appointments at PEO are open 40 to 45 days or say 6 weeks prior to your qualifiying date for ILR. Say if some one want to apply for the 8th of March, 2010, which is a Monday their booking will be opened on the 25th February, 2010 which is Monday. If your qualifiying date happens to be falling on a saturday or sunday then you will have to apply the week starting monday...

Online appointments start reflecting, if any left, on the thursday or friday late evenings onwards once the HO finishes for that whole week of telephone appointments. The HO may open the online system well in advace of the telephone bookings, but they will not reflect any appointments untill the week is done with telephone bookings.

Hope am clear and if you guys need any more info please ask and I will be sharing what I know.

Regards and good luck to all....

you mean 25th of January, no Feb :)

agree with the rest though - appointments on-line are available at the end of the week and there are lots of them (for SET O single) - several dates and with 4-5 times (8.30 - 11.30)

You'll also find some online appointments appearing on a Monday evening - but a much lower number and generally for dates much closer to today (some even for tomorrow).

Always between 4:30 and 5pm from what I've observed.

Thats helpful! In my view, telephonic appintments are much better. As mentioned in the forom, try calling at exactly 8.58! Though I was successful in taking online appointment. Thansk to this wonderful forum!!
