I.L.R more documentary evidence!

Post by bubbles_uk » Fri Mar 26, 2010 8:39 pm

Hi can anyone advise me on this situation please. My husband has just applied for his I.L.R after his 2 year spouse visa. We sent the documents on the 1st March and on the 19th March received my passport back and a letter that we needed to send more documentary evidence from may 2008-may 2009 either addressed jointly or to both of us. I was really shocked to open that letter as we submitted more than the 6 letters asked for (some joint and some individually addressed) and also at least 6 months joint bank account statements. For the first few months there were a lack of documents...maybe until sep 2008 (4 months after my husband arrived) as we were living at my parents. My father had written a letter confirming this which was sent with the application. I personally think our application is straight forward. We are both working, have a mortgage and also a 3 month old baby. Do you think I will face any problems?
