Points on licence

Hi,

My licence have three points due to offence code of LC20. This means driving the car with provisional licience without any supervision.

1. Does this includes in criminal convictions?

2. If it is a criminal conviction, is it spent or not?

3. I got points in April last year, and my ILR is due in Sep 2012. The traffic rules says that points remained on your licence for 4 years. Do I have to apply for ILR after four years that is in 2014.

Need advise from seniors on this forum.
