FLR(M)

Post by zeezee0 » Mon Sep 19, 2011 1:26 am

Hello All,

There are a few confusions I am facing which need clarification.

I will be applying for my ILR in a few days based on 10 years long stay. I am currently on a Tier 1 General Visa and my wife is my dependant on my visa. My wife has been living as my dependant in the UK for 15 months.
I understand my wife cannot apply for an ILR at the same time as me till she has completed 24 months in the UK as my dependant and would have to apply for FLR(M) in the meantime.

Now the questions are as follows:

1) What is my wife's visa status while my visa is being processed for ILR?
2) Does my wife visa become invalid once i have been granted ILR?
3) In regards to the finances is there a minimum amount that needs to be shown to show she is being supported by me or my parents?
4)Do I or my parents have to provide a bank statement and a wriiten letter proving they are supporting us?
5)If she is granted FLR(M) when is the earliest she can apply for ILR?SHe has been my dependant for 15 months already..

Thanks in advance for the replies!

Kind Regards
