We lost the house this morning - got the visa approval email a few hours too late. It wasn't meant to be for a reason so will accept it as God's will and move on. Still grateful that visa has been granted, considering the year we've had, even that seemed like it would be a battle.
Our case was escalated due to personal reasons so may have contributed to quicker turnaround but hopefully it can still be of some reassurance for IDV app users.
Thank you to this forum, @cullinan and all the mods. You really have been a lifeline for us- like a guiding light when lost in darkness. I wish everyone well and I will still be checking back every so often. It's become a habit
You should probably write to HO. Add a cover letter. Mention your Case ID and details. Attach evidence for your course start date. They should expedite your case. Send via recorded delivery.lucifer10896 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 8:56 pmHi all.

The interesting thing is that he just received an email to use IDV app. I have suggested him to ignore the email as the official update clearly says that applicants after 5th Sep have to book an appointment. He has secured a free appointment early next week anyways. But I think the IDV email is sent in error.
