Quick Question : After submitting my application and giving my biometrics, they have given back my passports and even my BRP card , So can I travel outside UK when my application is with UKBA still being assessed ?
No, you cannot travel out of the UK while you have an application pending for ILR. Your application will be considered withdrawn if you leave the UK.
Thank you CR001

How will they know that I left the country & returned ?

Hi CR001,

My son was born here in the UK last year and we did not apply for his passport nor have we applied for this visa, we (me & My wife ) have applied for our ILR , so my question is , Do we have to apply for his VISA (ILR) with us or can we apply after we get our ILR ?

Or can we apply for this passport directly after we get our ILR ?

Thank you !

You do not need to apply for the child's visa or ilr.

You also cant Apply directly for a passport as the child is not yet British..once either parent has ilr, you need to register the child as British on form mn1 and once approved and you get the certificate, then you can apply for a British passport.

1: Is there a fee for the MN1 application ?

2: How long does this process usually take ?

3: Can we apply for Kids passport immediately after the MN1 is approved ?

Many Thanks

Thanks a lot CROO1!

I have a daughter who is 2 years old , she has an Indian Passport and also went to India but she is now with us in UK ( She has a BRP), we (me & My wife ) have applied for our ILR this month (Still under review ), so my question is ,

1: Do we have to apply for my daughters VISA (ILR) with us or can we apply after we get our ILR ?

2: Or can we apply for her Naturalization directly after we get our ILR ?

3: Her visa expires in Sep 2019 , if we dont get our ILR response by Sep 2019, that's when her Visa expires , will it be ok? or Do I have to apply for her VISA (ILR) before it expires, if our application is still under review.

Thank you !

Was she born in the UK or abroad?

You really should refrain from asking citizenship questions in this topic please. There is a British Citizenship sub forum for these questions!!!
