Please your advice will be very much appreciated. Could you advice me on my present situation:

1. I have applied for ILR through the 10yr route so I am still waiting on the decision.

2. I was on the old work permit visa before I applied.

3. I will be starting a new job with a different employer in a month time.

My new employer is aware of my ILR application.

The qestions I have are:

Am I breaking any immigration rule by changing employment without a decision on my application?
OR
Will my new employer be breaking any immigration rule?

Yes. If your new employer employs you before your ILR is approved and if this new employer has not sponsored you for your work permit visa, then both you and the employer are breaking immigration rule. Your employer could be fined and you could lose your ILR.
