Hi,
I am currently on Tier 1 general and am applying for ILR in the begining of May'12.

I am eligible for ILR re the points based system however i am unemployed at this point of time. i know that this should not be an issue as i have enough points to cover the ILR and the other docs.

however i just want to ask if just in case ILR is rejected on the unemployment ground what would be the next step, would i be eligible for Tier 1 extn? Would the clause of unemployment be a problem in the Tier 1 extn as well?

I would appreciate if someone please get back to me so that i can start preparing for the plan B.

Tks,

you won't be rejected on unemployment basis if you meet the points.

if you are bothered, why not do job search and print out the job search / applications and add to application but it won't be necessary
