On completion of six months, I called UKBA this morning to make inquiry about the progress of my application and the response i got was 'The application is in progress and decision is yet to be made'.

Is this the same response others in the forum received on their inquiry after six months?

The guy did mentioned that my application is being processed in Liverpool.

Is the application for ILR or Settlement?

To help you, members will want to know what type of category you are for which you applied for ILR. Is it Tier 1, 10 years, 14 years etc? Having said that, some categories require a longer investigation by UKBA unlike others. Also, some applicants provide incomplete documents hence the delay in processing their applications. However, 6 months is a long time to wait for a reply.
