yes there is no standard set of rules to verify docs if your case is 'A' or 'B', all depends on case worker actually.

Just heard from a guy on the forum that he had been today to solihull and he had no issues and they gave him approval letter.

hope we hear some good news soon.

b/w i went to counter no. 4 where a lady was sitting (almost in 50's)

God knows what they doing just different selection procedures by different CW. Which counter did you go to? The guy who took my interview has told me from the begining that only provide the documents one by one qand as I ask so I had some additional supporting documents which never been taken or nor been ask for things like last 5 years P60's not been taken, the WP letter not been asked so I dont know how will they do the judgment. I am getting really worried now as they might wake up after a while and ask for additional documents and then the application will become postal.

Guys, I got the ILR Approval Letter for myself and 3 dependants in post this morning. It was posted yesterday (27th Apr) :D.

It says the BRPs will be sent in 7-10 days in a separate letter.

Hopefully people who were affected by IT ISSUES at Solihull on 24th April 2012 should get their confirmation letters today.

Please keep us updated as it will help other applicants who are waiting for their letters.

I received the BRPs for myself, wife and youngest son this afternoon. Haven’t got the BRP for my eldest son but I am hoping it will also be sent at some point this week.

Does anyone else received the BRP who applied on 25th and had the IT issues as I have not received any BRP yet.

Also who received their BRP please confirm which courier company despatched the BRP.

Thanks

I still have not rcvd my confirmation letter, but rcvd following reply from BRP Delivery which I don't know whether genuine or template response:

Thank you for contacting the BRP Customer Contact Centre regarding delivery of your Biometric Residence Permit (BRP).

We have experienced a high demand for Biometric Residence Permits which has resulted in some delays in their production and delivery.

Your BRP will be delivered within the next 3-7 working days. Deliveries take place between 8am and 6pm. Please note that on delivery the courier will require proof of identity (such as your passport, driving licence or bank card) and a signature to confirm receipt of the package.

Your leave to remain is in no way affected by this delay. You are advised not to make any travel arrangements until you have received your BRP.

We apologise for the inconvenience this matter may have caused.

Thank you
BRP Management Unit

This looks like they have replied to your email which is almost reassuring that your application has been approved, saying that with the HO you cannot trust but I think if the email specifically state your name etc then it means this is correct.

Don't worry be hopefull and relax

Many Congrats finally you got a response. Let us know when you get the BRP it seems odd though some people visited the same peo on 24th got the BRP and you just received a letter. I am also waiting for the BRP card though I have received the letter on Saturday which is dated 25th (the date I visited the PEO) but still no sign of the card yet.

umeruzair - thank you so much. Yes it was big relief indeed. I only know one person - LINKERS who went to solihull on 24 and rcvd his BRP and even he is waiting BRP for one of his son still, i guess since there is only one BRP section servicing all PEOs and postal applications so there can be some delays,

I am already communicating with BRP department in that regards, plz see this post:

http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewto ... 824#636824

I will let you know as soon I receive any further update.

I have just rcvd the BRP. Issue date is 01 May 2012 and valid until 24 April 2022. All done. I think the BRPs for all others who went to solihul PEO in the last week or so must be one the way too !

HMSP2007tier you mean they backdated the BRP dates? Did you mean 24 April 2012 or 24 April 2022?
