Hi All,

Thanks for this forum which gave me useful tips for my ilr process. Mine is straight forward hsmp + tier-1.

Got my ilr approved today at Solihull PEO.

Case worker asked my payslips and bank statements for last 12 months.

All over in an hour. Asked to come back after an hour to collect approval letter. Went back an hour later after spending sometime in john lewis when I was handed the approval letters. Also told biometric cards will be sent in 7 days.

Back home now and much relieved!

Thanks to all here.

5 to 7 min walk. There are also lovely restaurants around you could go to while you wait for your passport to be stamped with the visa, and a pretty high street you could take a stroll.
At least that is what I did when i went there, cause i was so very nervous, that i was trying ways and means to distract my self from the suspense. lol

Hi prash,

I am living near to Solihull PEO. Took me 30 min by car. But saw the railway station nearby. Should not take more than 10 min by walk.

If going by car, there is a john lewis car park nearby and they have a good cafe. Was useful when asked to come after an hour. Next to john lewis is the touchwood shopping center where lot of shops and eateries can be found. It has got greggs, subway, costa etc.

Hope this helps.
