Hi, I am applying for ILR. I was on HSMP (2yrs) + Tier1 (3yrs). While filling the form i am a bit confused about age assessment question. The question is:
Please tick the relevant box to confirm the points you are claiming on the basis of your age at application for your first grant of leave in a relevant route:
Applications for indefinite leave to remain where an applicant has had, leave as a Writer, Composer or Artist, Self Employed Lawyer, or as a Tier 1 (General) Migrant under the rules in place before 6 April 2010
So should I select whatever my age was when i first applied for HSMP or when I applied for extension i.e. Tier1? Or my current age?
Thanks

Thanks, Another question:
On page 18 of SET(O) Form where we specify earnings. The question at the bottom of page is:
A6. You should input your earnings into the Tier 1 (General) points based calculator and provide your total earning claimed in the box below:
What does this mean? I've already provided details in section A5. Do I need to fill this? Is there a points calculator for ILR?
Thank you.

Under A5, you can include earnings from several sources (or one if that's all you are claiming points for). Under A6 you enter the total earnings you are claiming points for. I.e. a sum of all earnings entered under A5.
You can use the Tier 1 General Point calculator if you want to assess eligibility for ILR - But ignore the English language & Maintenance (funds) in it, as you do not claim points (i.e. 10+10) for these when applying for ILR.

You simply need your total gross earning you are claiming. It could be from one job or from multiple jobs.

right, that was helpful. I was a bit confused as i was claiming earning from one job only and form shouldn't mention point based calculator as we can do sum on any calculator and their calculator is even more confusing
Thanks for the help.

yes you can use a normal calculator to calculate the total gross earnings you are claiming.
