My wife ILR is due in August. We are almost certain that she will get it. We have been married for more than 2 years...

I am currently on Tier 1 visa. My question is if my wife gets the ILR can i apply for the ILR afterwards...

or do we have to wait till she gets the British Citizenship and then I apply for the British Passport...

Which Tier 1?If one that allows settlement, then

Options:
1. Apply for settlement as a PBS migrant as and when you fulfil the requirements, or
2. Apply for FLR(M) after your spouse is granted settlement and then apply for settlement as and when you qualify (under current rules, after 2 years of being granted FLR(M) leave).

Only British citizens can apply for a British passport.
