ILR SUCCESS - DIRECTOR @ SOLIHULL 24APRIL2012-03MAY2012

Hi All
First of all I am extremely thankful to all and the immigration forum for the timely and useful informations before making an in-person application for ILR at Solihull PEO.
I now feel obliged to share my experience on this forum.
I applied as Ltd. Company Director but as an "employee", my appointment date was 24 April at Solihull.
Once I was let in the PEO, usual security checks, were given the token number, the case worker asked for the SET(O) form and Lituk test report and then asked for these papers:
1- Bank Statements
2- Payslips
At this stage he didn't ask for the dividend vouchers, I reminded him if he would like to see dividend vouchers as well, at that point he looked at my set(o) form again and said "yes give to me" and also asked for accountant letter. At this stage we have had a small verbal discussion of how I operate through my ltd company, i told him that I am IT contractor and works at client and the agency pay me etc. He then asked if I have paid any tax, I said yes and showed him the last financial year company corporation tax receipt and hmrc tax notification letter. Also gave him the bundle of quarterly VAT payments that included (online VAT return printouts and vat payment receipts)
Then he asked for P60s, and then got up and went to do photostat copies of my passport, when he came back with the photostats I told him that I already have the photocopies, he seems pleased and asked me to hand over the photocopies for all the documents i gave to him.
Then he said ALL IS FINE and if i can go and make payment. I went to the payment counter made the payment (1377 GBP) and was asked to wait in the waiting area for biometrics. Later was called for biometrics who took biometrics and asked me to return to PEO building after few hours.
Came back after few hours, was told that due to IT ISSUES approval letter will be sent to me by post. At the same time they also said that with application all is fine and it is jus biometric checks which ar not going though today which will be done laterz and then approval letter shall be sent.

BRP CARD WITH ILR STATUS RCVD ON 03 MAY 2012
Approval letter was dated as 24 APRIL 2012 and On BRP card the issue date is 01 MAY 2012 and the expiry date as 24 APRIL 2022
Thats all guys, it was bit of a rollercoaster as I got bit worried cuz of not getting the on-the-day approval but still it was not that bad, and eventually waited with patience for 1 week and all was happily over.
ONCE AGAIN MANY MANY THANKS TO THE BRILLIANT FORUM AND ALL THE MEMBERS WHO CONTRIBUTE. THIS SORT OF HELP THAT THEY DO TO OTHERS SIMPLY CANNOT BE PAID BACK IN ANY CURRENCY AND IN ANY AMOUNT.
