Hi all
I have question about my ILR which is due next month and I have problem that I have spent 177 days in one go in sep 2009 to march 2010.
( I have spent this time for my personnel family reason )
but in this time month of sep 09 to dec 09 I have received money in to my account £ 450 a month and feb march £110 each )
My question is to HOW TO qualify for ILR ?
What reason is acceptable for this 6 month s gap ?
If don,t get ILR what kind of extension I can get ?
And when I am eligible for ILR ?
My HSMP FIRST TIME MAY 2007 GOT EXTENSION IN 2009 AND VISA ENDS ON JUNE 2012..
Please help me ASAP..
As I have to decide next week and what to apply ILR OR TIER ONE EXTENSION ?
Thanks all
Ravee

1. Given the information you have posted regarding your absence, you don't. There is no question of "How"!
2. No one on the forum is allowed to give you "ideas". The reason must be the facts - that you know.
3. Tier 1 (General), if you qualify for it.
4.
March 2015.
The poll statements don't make any sense (to me at least). Based on what little I can make of them - Tier 1 (General) extension, if you apply for it, will be granted in line with
245CB.
Determining eligibility through a poll - useless idea!

Hi Thanks for reply
as you said I have discussed with few of solicitors some of them says that
you have to spent another 6 month of period and then you can apply for ILR.
Means I can apply back in dec 2012 .
and some says that I have to start 5 years again 5 year since 2010 .
what s fact ?
Thanks

Click on the text - March 2015 - in the response
above.
Once you have read it, you'll note that the logic is pretty simple.

Whether a reason will be acceptable or not will depend on the evidence(s) you can submit to justify the reason - that you had to be absent from UK for that long and there was no one else who could have done what you did during those days.
Just a statement in a letter that your were absent from UK because your father was ill will make no difference. You'll need to provide evidence(s) - e.g. - of the seriousness of your father's illness, the need for a full-time carer, and that other than you there was no one else to be the carer.
You say you received payments in your bank account during the months of this continuous absence. What was the source of these payments?
