Hi All,

I got my Work Permit visa on 29/10/07, arrived in the UK on 02/12/07. Switched to Tier-1 in 2010 (application made on 01/04/10, resident permit issued on 20/04/10), resident permit valid until 20/04/13.

When can I apply for ILR? Based on old WP rule I should be able to apply in Sept 2012, but based on Tier-1 rule I can only apply in Nov 2012. Since I switched in-country I am not sure which rule to follow.

Please also provide the link to policy related to my situation.

You can apply no earlier than 28 days before 2 Dec. You seem to be mistaken about the WP rules. Your residence period (that leads to ILR) begins on the day you arrived in the UK rather than the day your visa was emitted.
