Sent my application for indefinite leave to remain. Six weeks now, i havent received letter acknowldeging my application was received. My employer needs this letter to let me continue working. I dont know why letter is not coming through.

contact UKBA for that. Did money deducted from your account. If money is deducted from your account only this is the clue that your application has passed to CW.
There is employer line as well. You can give that no to your employer they can call and check
