I lived outside UK for 100 days
and I entered UK initially 66 days late after I got HSMP visa.

I will applying for ILR around 10 months from now,
but I need to make a 25 days trip outside UK .

Have I already used 166 days allowance(100(leaves) + 66( initial discretion)) ?

Or 66(initial discretion) is not counted towards 180 days ?

Which mean I can make my 25 day trip...

To be absent from UK one must have entered UK first. Therefore, the 66 days that you refer to are not "absences".

Thanks a lot for the reply.

So I can make my trip, my absences will become 125
and I can ask for initial late entry discretion for 66 days

Another thing I would like to mention is that these 125 days are
my paid leaves
with same employer
and I can prove this using my salary slips/ bank statements and / P60's for last 5 years

So, am I right in thinking that I should not have any trouble with ILR, after 125 days leave and 66 days late entry?

Or should I avoid this trip as a precaution :( ?
