Hi

please kindly advice needed.

i have lived in UK since feb 2003 (on different categories), i have never have any problems with Home Office. in January 2012 i applied for FLR (m) with my partner but was refused because of not living for 2 years and then I appealed and that was refused, so i decided to go home and re-apply afresh which i was successful and got back to UK.

according to the new rules, i will qualify to apply for INDEFINITELY LEAVE TO REMAIN in Jan 2013 (next year) BUT since my first attempt to apply for flr (m) was refused and i had to leave the country will it affect my long residency?

GUYS I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP, I FEEL SO EMOTIONALLY DRAINED BY THE NEW RULE.

What category of visa do you have at present? What code does it have?

Please provide full details of your immigration history chronologically. Just saying that you have been here in UK under various categories doesn't help much.

ok.

i came as student
EC 01/03/2003-
FLR 02/04/2007
PSW 12/12/2009
FLR 01/02/2012 - refused, go home on 13/02/2012
EC 01/04/2012

i never had problems (gaps) until when i was refused earlier this year and i left and came back.

Question is, does this hitch in being refused and had to go home to re-apply mean...

1. i overstayed when i got refused in February???
2. will this affect my long residency by resetting the time?
