Hi - I entered UK in Work Permit in Jan 2008, got my Tier1 General Stamped by July 2008. During my workpermit my salary was getting paid in India.

Between Jan 2008 till Nov 2008, I was outside UK for 142 Days, in which 90 days in a single strech.

Between Nov 2008 till Now I was away for 80 Days, in which 20 days for holiday and rest all (60 days) were for business puprose - I have a limited company and could arrange for a letter from Accountant.

I'm looking at applying for ILR by Dec 2012, would I qualify? do I have to provide any proof of salary for the period of Jan - Nov 2008?

Thanks,

Hi,

Probably you can't apply ILR by Dec 2012 since you are away for more than 90 days in a stretch during a calender year and they consider your period starting from Nov 2008 and you are eligible for ILR by Oct2013(you can apply 28days before)
