Hi,

I will be eligible for ILR next year and I have a question with regards to pay slips. I came to UK in May 2008 and was without a job in 2009 for 2 months. I got another job in April 2009 which helped me to renew my two year visa the following year in March 2010 and obtain a 3 year extension. I have been working continously without break from April 2009 onwards. Now next year when I go for my ILR I dont have any pay slips for those months in the UK.

Can someone who have been through my situation or have any information comment on my case.

Thanks,
RM

As long as you meet the qualifying criteria for ILR you will get it. The purpose for Tier 1 was to enable imigrants to come to the UK without a job offer. I would assume that because you came to the UK when the economy was struggling it would have taken you longer to get a job than if you had come in 2007. From my experience, some case workers are not bothered looking at P60s for previous years as long as you have met all the ILR requirements.
