Hi guys

My father has a work permit, and we are going to apply for settlement this september, on the UKBA websites, it says that I will need to apply separately, what actually does that mean? will I be able to book for the same slot as my father? or I will be assessed independently in a different slot? How do I make the appointment?

I have just rang UKBA this morning and the guy answered my call said that in my case which I am still depending on my father, My father can put me in the dependent slot despite that I m over 18? Is this true?

Thanks for you helps.

1. You need to apply separately using same SET O fomr similar to your father's

2. You need to book two separate slots

3. You need to pay full fee

4. You may even be called to a separate case worker at PEO if you do not tell them that you're applying as a dependant of your father using SET O formunder the category 'others'

5. First and the most important thing, please read other posts in the forum. There is everything that you need to understand before you apply.

Best of luck.
