hi
1. My tier1 visa started on 20thJan 2011, but i entered UK on 13th mar 2011
2. I was in India during 18th Jan to 19th feb 2012, working from India for couple of weeks and off couple of weeoks
3. Again during 04th April to 04th June2012, worked from india for couple weeks only
4. I was paid during my stay in India, there is no break in pay

now my Qs
1. Will i be eligible for ILR during Jan 2016 or during march 2016 or will i be eligible a all during 2016?
2. I may not get a letter from my employer regarding my stay/ work from India, only can provide pay slips, dont have any utility bills to provide
3. If i am hesitant to apply for ILR during 2016, can i apply for tier 1 extension again? if yes, how many years that will be valid?

You've got quite a long way to go, but it doesn't hurt to get your strategies in order. I would advise you to monitor the prevalent requirement (days outside uk, finances, spousal situations etc) and plan accordingly. Good luck.

probably when you extends your tier 1 you will get bit longer than the standard length to make it five years from entering uk

i entered 1 month behind the date my initial visa starts and i got 3 years plus one month for my extension
