Hi,

I have my ILR application due in Dec this year, Apart from usual paid vacations I had a long absence from UK,

My Employer aksed me to goto offshore for knowledge transefer for two n half months for which salary was paid as usual.
-- Have Salary slips with regular amount for this
-- No other document available as it was internal email regarding temp. move to offshore

But after that I decided to engage in a long training and project work
at same offshore site for skills upgrade and platform change and employer agreed to support cost and stay (from Offshore practise) BUT no salary in UK.

-- Have UK salary slips for this but with zero salary (tax adjustment amounts like 600-100 GBPs credited 1/2 times)
-- Have no document for training and stay as it was internal to the orgnasiation

After 6 months of offshore stint (2 Months KT, 4 Months Trainings) I continued from UK office as usual.
-- Have Service certificate and all the payslips

I initially didnt realise that this will be a issue during ILR , I left above emplyer 14 months back and tried to contact for above emails/docs with no luck, At most I can get an email from my Senior at the time of absence confirming it was agreed absence for training.

-- Had active bank accounts in UK and reasonable amounts in it throughout

Will this be considered as permitted absence ?

Please help me!

Thanks!

Arrange as much as docs possible for those absence. If you going in person i suggest you to make a separate folder and put all the evidence of that long absence. You have to satisfy CW on PEO which makes your chances more to getting result at same day otherwise further inquiry letter will be given to you and your application will be treated as Postal.

They are very strict on >90 days absence. so you have time be prepared and if possible try apply through solicitor.
