Hello,

Just wondering whether anyone has recently applied for leave to remain recently. My husband applied to Durham on 23rd July (just two weeks ago), and am just wondering how long they are currently taking to deal with spouse applications. I appreciate each application may differ.

Obviouslty as his wife they have my passport also, and I was hoping to book a holiday in November, but won't do so till my pasport is firmly in my hand.

Any ideas? Thanks

from what I heard and read here I saw some example up to 6 or 7 month!
if you have some time to ready through you may find some real stories here

They have a considerable back-log at the moment and UKBA staff on Summer holidays won't help, so you may be looking at several months.
