flR(M) - Section 7A - Financial Req. Shall I Leave it blank?

Hi again... (sorry for the dublicate post - but just making the title clear)

Ok as you might know, I have now, with thanks to Christ my Lord, got my ILR at Croydon :)

ok for my wife FLR(M) - we are filling the form! it is the most illogical form I have filled so far in my 5 years of stay!

My Question is: Wife obtained Dependant Visa, BEFORE July, so before the new rules came into play. My understanding from the GUIDANCE notes is that the financial Requirements will not apply to her.... SO...

/on the FLR(M) Version v2.... what do we do with Section 7A...

Do we leave it all blank? In the begining of the section there is not a Yes/No question that tells you to skip this section (or go to next section) if you have been in uk before July? but the guidance shows that this section does not apply....

what should we do? (am thinking to fill two forms, one with 7a filled and another unfilled !!! but that would just confuse CW right?)

I would appreciate any help... (am also aware that at the end of the day it might be FLR(O) needed!

you should say Yes - As your wife got visa before July 2012 so new rules didn't apply on her.

if you still have doubts & want to re-confirm then call UKBA & they will confirm the same.

the point is that there is no question that asks yes or no...

so my question is whether to just leave the sectio blank...

I would appreciate people who alraedy filled the form to give me their opinion

Im also in the same boat however Im filling it as I earn more than they ask for and just for the safe side i would send all the required document. I believe its better to fill if you earn more than they ask for otherwise leave it blank and include it on a covering letter.

thanks for that mrgsingh :)

Here is what I have done: I hae filled one form with the section filled & will take P60s, bank statements & payslips for a year...

I have filled another FLR(M) with the section unfilled !

also taking FLR(O) form filled up too... I have a feeling it will come down to FLR(O) at the end,, just reading various posts on this form!

good luck to you too...

what docs are you including for marraige?

Cheers,

FLR (m)
