Pls Help! I am an overstayer without my passport, I got into the country at the age of 17, I'm now 25. My dad is here, he's got His indenfinate leave to reamain but he's got dementia, therefore he's in a home. recently I had a baby with my British Fiancee, we've being seeing each other for 2years. Times are hard, we want to get married but I was told I can't because I don't have my passport, I have no money for lawyers cos I can't work, I am thinking of going to hand myself in at the Immigration center. I'm fed up sincerely.[/b]

So does it make sense for you to leave your fiance and father behind??

Why don't you apply for a passport at your embassy?? Where IS your passport anyways?

My passport was in the care of my dad, but he has misplaced it, unfortunantely he's got dementia, so that what happened. Yea, I did not know the Embassy here in the UK can issue another 1 for me without my stay.

Your might be able to get legal aid. Go to your local law center http://www.lawcentres.org.uk/lawcentres/detail/find/ or citizens advice bureau http://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/to discuss your case first before thinking of handing yourself in they might be able to tell you what options do you have.

If everything else fail you have options to go back home get married to your partner and apply for spouse visa.
