Received a letter from Home office that my wife biometrics were not very clear so she had to submit it again.

FINAL UPDATE:

Finally I got my approval letter of ILR on 29th Jan 2013.
It took more than 6 months but I knew it will come so I did not panic..to all out there, just keep patience and it will arrive! Best of luck..

I received our BRP cards this morning! I am thrilled though a bit angry with UKBA for taking almost 8 months to process the application. I am also surprised that we got the BRP cards even before the approval letter and our documents but I don't really care what came first! My prayer is for all of you still waiting to get some good news soonest.

The discussion posts that were made in this thread, about everyone still waiting to get their biometric invitations, are very helpful. Especially those who posted that their reference numbers aren't even registered on the system yet.

I am in the same boat and it was quite a relief to read that I'm not alone - because it signifies that nothing is wrong with my application, it's just a general July backlog at UKBA. I suspect there are others who felt the same.

I'd like to suggest/propose that any posts that are relevant to timelines be allowed in this thread, even if the posts do not directly list a timeline...so, for example, someone posts that they are still waiting for a biometrics invitation and when calling UKBA, they discover that the reference number isn't entered yet.

Just my thoughts, but that type of discussion is directly relevant to timelines.

And all that relevant information that you refer to can be added in the 14 "key parameters" of the timeline. There is an "edit" button given, for members to update the timeline and / or add any additional important information about their timeline that they may wish to add to their posts.

For everything else, please use these topics.

Just as you would like to communicate, there are others who would rather see "timelines" without going through 10-200 pages of "communication". For the purpose of communication and general discussion a topic already exists. If this topic is to lead to the same end, it will be closed.

In the last 10 days or so there have been at least 4 attempts to "bump" this topic to the first page ... without any "relevant" information being posted .. that I have had to remove.
